Hose assembly includes 90deg union to mate with stock EGR to thermostat hose for perfect clearance with manifold, and align the temp sensor parallel to the cylinder head so there is zero strain on the harness.
If you buy a competitors kit, PLEASE follow this routing and buy a 3/4″ 90, otherwise your hose will rub on the intake pipe bracket or the manifold and eventually fail.
