This first-to-market kit replaces and bypasses the CATA Auxiliary EGR Cooler p/n 059-131-512-Q/ 059-131-512-AC / 059-131-512-AR while maintaining proper coolant routing to the heater core. So you can have heat.
Includes genuine VW replacement bolts for mounting the delete and securing the coolant pipes, as well as 2x replacement N90809102 O-rings for the coolant pipes.
This kit is as close as plug and play you can get. The coolant connection is 1:1 with stock EGR cooler and will mate up just like OEM.
In order to further reduce NOX emissions in the 1st generation engine, VW started smoking raw cocaine again and randomly slapped on another EGR cooler to cool the exhaust gas even cooler.
If you ever feel like an afterthought just take a look at the EGR system of the CATA engine. you can pretty much tell they were running out of ideas.

Well anyways this delete piece is cool because the two oring connections are tied together with 2 angled drills to avoid a cross drill.
