Note: Each application on Gen2 uses 4pcs of these harness supports. Kits of 5 will include a spare one just in case one gets damaged dropped/lost during install.
Also note: 1 Roll of The Tesa Tape is extremely long. You will never use the entire roll in the next 40 years. Don’t order 2 or more rolls unless you really really want 2 rolls! Save your money.
This has bothered me for a long time – When removing the intake manifold when doing valley jobs on the Gen2 platform (EGR or oil cooler related service), the harness must be removed from the plastic harness guide (PN

The harness is held into the guide with nylon barbs which are one time use, and are not on any parts diagram. As a result, when we put the harness guide back, it sits loosely in there and pisses me off.
Do not waste time on ETKA looking for this part. You will not find it.
If your car has ever had work done in the valley, even from the dealership, they can’t and wont replace these because they literally don’t have a part number for them.
As it turns out, there IS an OEM part number from VW, BMW and Ford for this exact part.
After extensive undercover work, I have ordered a metric shit-ton of these cable guides from the OE manufacturer to save everyone the hassle.

Kit includes 5 or 10 wire German-made genuine bundle supports for the harness from the same manufacturer that makes them for VW and BMW, though you need 4 per application only. 1 pc as a spare.
Optionally includes German-made Tesa 51036 9mm harness tape which is the exact material and width used in the bundle. Other thicknesses definitely work, but 9mm allows side to side play for exact alignment.
Be aware that eBay and Amazon sellers offering Tesa 51036 is virtually guaranteed to be counterfeit. Amazon some off brand stuff if you prefer, it will be better than fake chinese Tesa.
